Razzi Abuissa

Razzi is excited to join Iowa Conservatory in fall 2025, teaching middle school Science and high school Biology and Physics.

He graduated with an engineering degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Early in his career, he worked as a software engineer in the solar industry and at the Wikimedia Foundation. He has taught kids how to code with Code Nation in California and at the Iowa City Fab Lab. He also teaches at Country School in Iowa City, an elementary school with a performing arts focus and real live animals!

In addition to formal education, Razzi is a yoga teacher and has completed a 200-hour teacher training in vinyasa yoga. He also enjoys social dance, especially West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop.
