For the past decade, I’ve dreamed of opening a performing arts school in Iowa City—the “Greatest Small City for the Arts”—a place I’ve proudly called home for nearly 30 years.

Every dollar of ICON tuition is designed to directly impact your student’s experience. Tuition isn’t just a number, it’s an investment in your student’s growth, confidence, and future.
Base tuition for 2026 -2027 varies depending on the program. Base for full day arts academy is $25,000.
We believe that every young artist deserves access to exceptional training and education. Through our generous financial aid program and scholarship support, we work with families to make an ICON education possible and accessible.
We make every effort to ensure that financial need does not prevent talented students from attending Iowa Conservatory.
