Heather Young

Heather Young is a licensed Iowa educator with endorsements in Social Studies and Science. She has taught global studies, world history, and science at the high school level, along with experience teaching at the elementary level. She creates inclusive, student-centered classrooms that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion. She has also taken on educational leadership roles in school districts and nonprofit organizations. Outside of school, Heather enjoys time with her family, running, and traveling — passions that fuel the curiosity she brings into the classroom.
