Sasha Hildebrand

Sasha Hildebrand is a working actor, director and costume designer who has been in the industry for
well over 20 years. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Iowa and a Post-
Graduate Degree in Acting from the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts in Liverpool England-
from which she got to perform on London, Liverpool and Edinburgh Fringe Festival stages. Sasha has
also worked frequently in locations like Chicago with companies like Drury Lane, in Georgia with the
Springer Opera House, and she is a returning company member every year with the Texas Shakespeare
Festival- the only professional theatre company in East Texas. Her performance resume spans a vast
variety of contemporary, musical theatre, classical theatre and Shakespearean characters. She has also
directed over 45 different plays, musicals and operas and costumed designed over 75 different
theatrical productions.

On top of performing, directing and designing – Sasha is incredibly passionate about teaching and
helping to mold the theatre artists of the next generation. She has taught for the Liverpool Institute for
the Performing Arts, The Springer Theatre Academy, the University of Iowa, Longview High School in
Texas, Sterling College in Kansas, and at the prestigious Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts.
