Sebastián Lores

Sebastián Lores recently finished a PhD in Spanish Literatures at the
University of Iowa, where he also earned an MFA in Spanish Creative
Writing. Before that, he completed a Master’s in the Construction
and Representation of Cultural Identities at the Universitat de
Barcelona.

He’s taught Spanish language, culture, and literature in translation,
always focusing on inclusivity, cultural immersion, and keeping
students engaged.

Sebastián is also involved in publishing and writing in both academic
and creative spaces. He founded and directed a children’s book fair
in his hometown, Lima, Peru.
