Residential Assistant (RA) | Iowa Conservatory

Iowa Conservatory (ICON) is a performing arts boarding high school located in the heart of downtown Iowa City. We’re looking for a responsible, warm, and steady presence to join our Student Life Team as a Residential Assistant—a great fit for a graduate student who wants housing, community, and meaningful work with teens.
- Private apartment in downtown IC (on UI campus)
- $2,000 stipend (prorated Feb-May 30)
- Flexible enough to hold a daytime job or be in grad school
- Hands-on experience with adolescent development, mentoring, and leadership
- Potential summer work and/or 2026–27 RA position
Nuts & bolts
- Start: Immediate
- Hours: ~20–25/week (evenings, nights, weekends)
- Housing: Single room provided
- Reports to: Dean of Students
- Background check required
