At ICON, that’s what we’re best at. As a small performing and visual arts high school, we’re able to give every student individual attention — and in much more than just their chosen area of study. It’s not uncommon to find a Musical Theatre major in a private piano lesson or a Dance major in an independent costume design study. Our interdisciplinary approach to the arts allows students to really dig in and explore every aspect of their creativity that piques their interest.
One-on-one instruction helps our students stand out — especially when it comes time to prepare audition tapes and portfolios for college applications. Juniors and seniors have dedicated, solo class time to prepare for college auditions and applications. This format pays off, and pays off well. We’ve sent students to Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Molloy University’s CAP21 Conservatory, and Florida State University’s musical theatre program… and that’s just from our first year. Imagine what a full high school experience at ICON can deliver!
